Mengembalikan File Yang Di-Hidden Oleh Virus
Pasti ada yg pernah kena virus yg menghilangkan folder kan? Pada bingung pastinya kemana nih folder2 kesayangan, kok pada hilang setelah di scan pake antivirus, biasanya akan didelete bila tidak bisa di-heal. Padahal biasanya yg didelete td cuman virus-nya aja yg menyamar sebagai folder, sedangkan folder aslinya di-hidden oleh virus bersangkutan.
Biasanya, bila drive/flashdisk di-browse dg explorer biasa, folder yg di-hidden oleh virus takkan mampu ditampilkan, bahkan dulu browse pake ACDSee yg katanya bisa eh trnyata juga gak bisa, nah, bagemana nih, tenang aje, langkah awal adalah install aja program FileZilla (FTP Client itu loh), nah, browse aja flashdisk atau drive yg folder2nya pd ilang dg Filezilla, pasti ketemu deh, tp itu belum bisa mengembalikan folder spt semula, cuma nampilkan aja, foldernya msh ada atau kagak, nah untuk mengembalikan folder yg di-hidden oleh virus, langkah2nya adl sbg berikut:
1. Buka command prompt (DOS)
bisa via Start –>Run ketik cmd
atau pilih menu Start –> All Program –> Accessories –> command prompt
2. Pindah folder ke drive Flash disk
C:\Documents and Setting\user> e: (nama drive flash disk)
3. Lakukan pengecekan file di flash disk
E:\> dir /a
4. Gunakan syntax atau perintah attrib, untuk menampilkan file yang di hidden oleh virus
E\> attrib -S -H /S /D *
keterangan :
-S : Untuk menghilangkan attrib tipe sistem file
-H : Untuk menghilangkan attrib tipe hidden file
/S : Untuk memproses seluruh folder dan sub folder
/D : Memproses folder
* : Semua file/folder yang terdapat di USB Flashdisk
Setelah file bisa ditampilkan, jangan lupa untuk menghapus semua file application virus yang berekstensi .exe (kotakhitam)

Disable Shared Documents
Windows XP has a built-in folder which allows other users to share files. Here's how you can disable that Shared Documents folder.
- Open Regedit and navigate to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion \Policies\Explorer
- Right click on the 'Explorer' key and choose New, DWORD Value. Name the new DWORD "NoSharedDocuments".
- Double click "NoSharedDocuments" and enter the value 1.
